His fast break system generates good shots each time down the court and with this you can outrun bigger and better opponents. See more products by: See other products you might like. Basketball In the Fast Lane on August 17, 2015 • Currently 4/5 Stars. 4/5 Stars 4 by Anonymous Thoroughly enjoyed this and will be using many of the concepts therein in our own upcoming season. The concept of running a pure fast break offence is fairly simple and Coach Westhead presents everything in a clear, concise way. I have no doubt when he says that players have to work exceptionally hard to make this approach a success but I have the sense that it can be worth it.

Kind of eerie watching that LMU team in its early manifestation, as we all know what eventually happened, but maybe that's part of what makes this video a must-have in every coach's library, whether you're a 'guru of go' yourself or not. I'm glad I purchased it. Was this review helpful? 2/5 Stars 2 by bballcoach3291 There was some decent information and it was well explained. However, it does not demonstrate enough drills on implementing this for players who need to be drilled into understanding the concepts. Championship Productions replies: Coach, Thank you for your feedback.

Basketball In the Fast Lane on July 27, 2014 • Currently 5/5 Stars. 5/5 Stars 5 by AraParseghian456 The DVD does a great job of showing the famed Loyola Fastbreak from the late 80's. The DVD is presented in a well organized manner and I like that he uses his own players, as opposed to using players from a coaching clinic. I find that DVD's produced with a coach's own players present better because the players know what it is the coach is trying to show.

Time isn't wasted trying to get players on the right page with the coach. I like to use parts of the Loyola break with my 9th grade girls team and I modify other parts to suit my needs. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?

Basketball In the Fast Lane on June 8, 2012 • Currently 5/5 Stars. 5/5 Stars 5 by Anonymous In my opinion this is the best transition, fast break video out on the market today. It is a numbered fast break with really good supportive drills. We have used this very disciplined break as our offense and combine this with a full court trapping defense.

It is easy to install and easier for the players to understand. Jack Patton 5 of 5 people found this review helpful.

In between guiding Loyola Marymount to those fantastic, high-scoring seasons AND coaching the Phoenix Mercury to a WNBA championship, Coach Westhead also coached the L.A. Lakers to an NBA Championship (He preceded Pat Riley as Laker coach). He's the only coach in history to win both a NBA and a WNBA Championship as a coach.

Why that wasn't mention in the destription is beyond me. 4 of 7 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?
